In support of the 5210 wellness program, Main Street School and Lincoln Street School are recognizing each component of the program throughout the school year. Over the months of November and December, our schools are promoting the "1" in 5210 which represents "1 hour or more of daily physical activity." With the holidays and cold weather approaching, it is even more important to get outside and play. Something as simple as taking a walk with family, going for a bike ride, or turning on some music to dance in the living room if the weather is bad are excellent ways to stay active and healthy.

There are also several community programs available such as the Exeter Recreation Department, Exeter Bowling Lanes, Karate International, skating at Exeter Rinks or the outdoor Puddle Dock Pond in Portsmouth, The Rye Airfield Indoor Skate park, Blitz trampoline gym, and programs available through the Exeter YMCA. Whatever your preferred activity is, we encourage students and their families to get outside, or stay inside, to play with family and friends during the month of December.
