Parents and guardians are required to deliver all medications to the Health Office. Under no circumstances shall students transport medications, prescription or non-prescription, to or from school.
If your child requires administration of over-the-counter medication such as ibuprofen or cough medicine, please bring a supply in the original container labeled with your child’s name. A permission form is required and available in the Lincoln Street School Health Office and on our website.
A parent or guardian must pick up all unused medications at the end of the year, or they will be disposed of.
We do not carry cough medicine or decongestants in the Health Office. If you anticipate your child will need cough drops during the school day, please send in a bag of cough drops with a note from a parent or guardian.
A physician’s signature is required to administer prescription medications at school.
