My name is Pamela Garrity, and I have been a nurse since 1998, with experience in medical-surgical units, labor and delivery, and school nursing. I have been the Lincoln Street School nurse since 2019!  I have a Master of Science with a concentration in School Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Anselm College and I am a Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing member.

Your children’s safety and health are my top priority, and I strive to make the health office at Lincoln Street School a safe place for them when they aren’t feeling well or need one of the many services I provide here at the school.

I wear many hats as the school nurse! I provide comprehensive health services to keep students healthy, safe, and ready to learn.  These health services include:

Acute illness: headaches, stomachaches, flu, COVID, common cold, strep throat, urinary tract infections, allergies, conjunctivitis Chronic illness: asthma, diabetes, seizures, anaphylaxis-type allergies Medication management and administration Injuries and acute issues: abrasions, rolled ankles, broken bones, concussions, tick bites, lice, bee stings, bug bites, splinters, nosebleeds Health screenings: vision, hearing, height, weight, blood pressure Health education: puberty, personal hygiene, nutrition Case management: referrals, advocacy, collaboration with teachers, administration, families, and community resources
